I’m Your Girl If:

~You like photos with movement, laughter, emotion & personality. Don’t get me wrong, we do start with some posing to get warmed up, and there is always the “normal” photos we make sure to get for the Christmas card or Grandma’s wall! We will just also be playing, running, twirling, dancing, swinging, and laughing!

~You don’t mind getting a little dirty! Most of my sessions (not lifestyle or weddings due to situational reasons) are outside, and I’m sure you’ve noticed Natural Light just can’t be beat! Also, I have found most of my clients & I’s favorite photos are the ones where we are playing, getting in the weeds, walking through the woods, or taking our shoes off to get in the water! Don’t worry i’m right there with you, getting covered in Burrs and in the strangest shooting positions!

~You like the vibe & aesthetic of film photography. Since i was a child I’ve been using some sort of film camera, and if you read my about me you know that’s what I ended up getting my college degree in! These days it’s just not practical to use film 100% of the time, but thanks to technology I’ve been able to develop my editing and shooting style to mimic the feel of film!

~You prefer minimally photoshopped photos. There is nothing wrong with wanting a lot of work done in post! It just isn’t my style or part of what I value personally in photography. I DO take out blemishes, bruises, stray hairs, stains, people, distractions…etc. I don’t add backgrounds, sunsets, falling snow, birds, slim people down 10lbs or remove the double chin everyone thinks they have. Sorry! I am all about being in the moment of life and the reality of humanity so that just isn’t me! There are many other amazing photographers that would be happy to do those things for you, and if you need suggestions, please email me!
